The Appellation of Origin

The region of Ribera del Duero is located on the great northern plateau of the Iberian Peninsula and is formed by a large ancient plinth covered with tertiary sediments. The greater part of these sediments is formed by clay sands, what endows this zone with unique characteristics. In this basin, the rainfalls are moderate – low, winters are generally long and rigorous, while summers are very dry.

A wild land, an abrupt climate, wines with character.

All these characteristics together become the Ribera del Duero wines into continental character wines. These wines are mainly red, although there are also rosé varieties, it is about wines with a highlighted character, strong and personal; they represent the best of a wild and free land. The sensations that these wines awaken are, undoubtedly, a compendium of earthly emotions that have no comparison.
